err, i mean blow-off. as in blow off tube. which is what i had to put on the fermenter tonight, cause i had krausen working its way up and through the top of the 3 piece airlock. don’t want to risk having some of that stuff crust over, clog the vent tubes and end up with huge mess in my freezer (chest freezers are a bitch to clean out, by the way), so i sanitized a new airlock and a short piece of tubing that fits over the stem in it, thrw some star san in a growler, and now it’s blowing away like mad in there. hopefully i won’t lose too much good stuff through the tube…
